Frank Ditmarsch

VP Technical

Frank Ditmarsch joined the team of SGI in January 2013 as Program Manager. Having over 20 year of aviation experience of which 15 years in the field of aircraft leasing he brings day-to-day leasing experience to the company.

Frank started his aviation career with European Aviation Services as Technical Representative and Sales & Marketing Manager Europe for engine repair & overhaul facility Airwork in the USA. After leaving EAS, Frank joined ING Aviation Lease where he gained leasing expertise as a Technical Manager on Airbus A300, A320 family and Boeing 737, 757. In 2000 Frank became VP Power Plant Management for International Equipment Management (IEM). After joining AerCap in 2002 as a Transaction Coordinator and Sales & Marketing Manager for Central Asia he decided to take the opportunity to join the new start-up company AerData in 2007. At AerData Frank focussed on the development, implementation and training of an asset & contract management software application (CMS) for airlines, leasing companies and financial institutions. In addition Frank was responsible for the Policies & Procedures at AerData. He established an ISAE 3402 certification on the CMS tool with accountants firm BDO.

Frank graduated from the Hoge School Amsterdam (HTS) in 1989 with a Bachelor of Aerospace Engineering and in 1990 with a Master of Business Administration.
