VP Technical

Raily brings more than 25 years of experience in the aviation industry to SGI.Raily held roles in Aircraft Maintenance, Maintenance Training and Management. Starting his aviation career as an Apprentice Engineer with Malaysia Airlines and upon graduating and obtaining his Aircraft Maintenance License from UK CAA (now EASA) and Malaysia DCA, Raily worked with severalmajor Asia airlines, including Malaysia Airlines, AirAsia, Myanmar Airways International, and MRO. Progression of his aviation career sees Raily taking on senior roles as Technical Instructor, Maintenance Manager and Head of Engineering and Maintenance (Chief Engineer). Raily spent the last 9 years in Aircraft Leasing as Technical Consultant and more recently as VP Technical for SGI Aviation. He had worked with several Aircraft Leasing companies, handling more than 25aircraft transitions as well as performing annual, mid-term, pre-purchase and pre-return audits. Raily is also a Program Manager, managing lease re-deliveries and technical due diligence projects, as well as an approved 2-REG Airworthiness Surveyor.
